1. Speak with administration to notify us of your interest and to verify the date and availability of the course you wish to participate in. Contact us at: info@rocamora.org.

2. This course is based on the "The Ring Around The Mind" workbook, so if you don't have a copy you will need to purchase one in advance of class. The first lessons homework will be due on the first day of the course. Order a hard copy now or order an e-book copy now.

3. Membership to our Online Community. Once you have signed up, completed this form and paid your tuition you will receive an email invitation to join your class in our members area of the site. If you need any assistance along the way please contact kate@rocamora.org.

“The Ring Around The Mind” Online Correspondence Course has been designed to take small groups of people through a precise sequence of inner experiences that frees Awareness from patterns and paves the way for deeper spiritual developments. Here are some guidelines to make your journey a pleasant one.

We want you to understand that this course is neither therapy nor religion. It is an educational process and must not be used as a substitute for therapy. If you are experiencing depression or any other psychological disorder we ask that you be under the care of a physician so that you can successfully do this work.

The seed for this work came from creator Mary Rocamora’s experiences of Tibetan Buddhism. So it has more in common with meditation than group therapy or hierarchical structured education. Our courses are not lecture-based or knowledge driven. The lesson plan unfolds in the context of each student’s daily life experience and is set in a peer process structure where the facilitator and all the participants are charged with creating a safe environment.

If along the way you feel the need for additional support to practice, we highly suggest using the comment wall or creating your own way to meet and interact with your classmates. Should issues between students arise that are unable to be resolved by the participants on their own, than you may want to bring it to the attention of the facilitator for possible intervention. Be aware however, the facilitator’s main priority is to keep the focus on the material and inner development.

By registering for this course you are committing fully to:

1. Participating every week. The lesson plan is very precisely sequenced and you will notice the gap in the material if you are absent. If you can’t attend please notify the facilitator in advance. There will be no make ups.

2. Turning homework in on time. If your homework is late you may not receive a response that week.

I, the Participant, being of lawful age, in consideration of being permitted to participate in an Awareness Course facilitated by The Rocamora School scheduled for (date listed above) do agree to waive, release and discharge it's owners, officers, directors, employees, members, agents, legal representative and successors and all business associates and partners involved in the presentation of the above noted activity from all liability for or by reason of any damage, loss or injury to person or property even injury resulting in the death of the Participant, which has been or may be sustained in consequence of the participation in the activity described above and not withstanding that such damage loss or injury may have been caused solely or partly by the negligence of The Rocamora School, it's affiliates and employees.
